Wet Area

Interior wet areas such as bathrooms and wash areas are critical parts of any construction practice. Wet areas are prone to seepage and leakage as water penetrates through areas like tile joints, wall and oor joints, various traps, wall-hung sanitary ware, concrete voids and cracks, etc. which can lead to odours, mold and mildew, peeling paint and even upto damaging the structure.

Roof areas (sloped/flat), balconies and terraces are areas which are most challenged by continuous weather effects. A continuous cycle of rains, sunlight and frost can cause the roof layers weaken, thereby allowing rainwater to penetrate through those weak joints, cracks, traps and concrete floors. Such leakage and seepage can damage not only the construction but the roof interiors of the floor below.
