Ascoglass FR


ASCOGLASS FR is highly durable, exible, Alkali Resistant and it is made with an ideal engineering glass woven fabric then coated by acrylic acid copolymer liquid. ASCOGLASS FR has excellent properties including high water resistance, exibility, softness, resistance to aging and attack from breakdown. It is widely used for waterproong in roong applications, reinforcement for natural marble, plasterboard, and Exterior Insulation Finishing Systems (EIFS). It complies with BS/EN 1170.

Keep away from heat and moisture and in suitable packaging. Best conditions for storage are 15°C – 35°C, within a humidity range of 35% – 65%.



  1. i. Cut Fiber Roll to required sizes and place aside. Measure and pre-cut fiber roll to cover entire length of cracks etc. and at least 1 tile width of each side of crack (20 cm (8") minimum).
  2. ii. Apply a generous coat of ASCOGUARD PRIME slightly wider than the fabric to be used over crack, with a brush or roller.
  3. iii. Embed reinforcing fiber roll into wet ASCOGUARD PRIME with a roller or brush so that it bleeds through fiber roll.
  1. iv. Once fiber roll is thoroughly embedded, apply a second coat of ASCOGUARD PRIME to create a void free membrane, and allow to dry.
  2. v. Apply a final coat of ASCOGUARD PRIME.
