Ascocrete II


ASCOCRETE II is a two part acrylic modified cementitious coating, mixed at site for easy application. It dries to a tough flexible layer of modified cement with an excellent waterproofing properties. Recommended for Internal and external structural waterproofing of concrete and plaster substrates. ASCOCRETE II can be applied by roller or brush on horizontal and vertical surface.

1.5 - 3 kg/m² @ 1 to 2 mm thickness depending on the roughness and the demands of the surface. 3 - 5 kg/m² @ 2 to 2.5 mm thickness with use of ASCOGLASS FR for high hydrostatic pressures.


Combined 20 Kg package (15 Kg polymerized cementitious powder + 5 Kg acrylic polymer dispersion), in grey colour.


12 months from production date, if stored in original, unopened packaging in places protected from moisture, sun exposure and frost.




  • SCOCRETE II can be applied on clean surfaces, free of materials that might prevent bonding e.g. dust, loose particles, grease etc. The success in the application depends on the right preparation of the underlay and use of the material.
  • Water leaks should be plugged with ASCOGROUT.
  • Any cavities in concrete surface should be filled in and smoothed out using (ASCOBOND 450/ASCOBOND AR 470 : WATER : CEMENT) in ratio of 1:1.5:3 as recommended. After all loose aggregate have been removed, the surface should be well moistened.
  • Existing cracks or work joints are opened longwise in an inverse “V” shape in a depth of about 1-2 cm and are subsequently filled with ASCOFILL & ASCOBOND AR 470.
  • Corners like the joint of floors with vertical walls should be filled in and rounded smooth with ASCOGROUT followed by ASCOSEAL TAPE ROLL (formation of a groove having a triangle cross-section with 5-6 cm sides).
  • In case of masonry walls, joints should be first filled in carefully, otherwise it is recommended to apply a cement mortar layer first improved with ASCOLITE READY MIX MORTAR.
  • For sealing of basements in old buildings, any existing wall plastering should be removed to a height of up to 50 cm above the water level and then should be proceeded as mentioned above.


  1. ASCOCRETE II is the content of the 15 Kg bag (Part A) which is added to the 5 Kg of liquid (Part B) under continuous stirring, until a uniform viscous mixture is formed, suitable for brush application.
  2. The entire surface of the substrate should be dampened well, but without creating any water puddles.
  3. The material is applied by brush in 2 or more layers, depending on the water effect. Brushing in perpendicular directions i. e. If first coat is horizontal than second coat will be applied vertically.
  4. Each new coating is applied, after the previous one is slightly wet.


  • Freshly coated surfaces should be protected from high temperatures, rain and frost for at least 24 hours.
  • For negative high pressures, it is recommended to use ASCOGLASS FR.
  • For internal sealing on floorings, it is recommended that the final covering of the ASCOCRETE II be done with concrete, IPS or tiles.
