FIXOBOND® PRO
FIXOBOND® PRO (available in grey/white) is a highly polymer-modified ordinary Portland cement-based high-strength adhesive suitable for internal and external applications in dry and wet areas. This special adhesive can also be used for demanding flooring applications like wet on wet as a slurry coat. It is ideal for various substrates to fix very low porosity vitrified tiles, glass mosaics, basalt tiles, marble, natural stones and granite.
AREAS OF APPLICATION
Tiling of internal & external floors, walls*, roof & window/door frames. *Subject to cladding method statement by Ascolite, for walls above 20 feet consult with ASCOLITE’S technical team.
SUITABLE SUBSTRATES
Concrete, cement renders, cement screeds, cementitious waterproofing coatings, ceramic tiles, vitrified tiles, natural stones* and ASCORENDER. In case of Cementitious Dry Panels, apply ASCOPRIME GT before the installation of FIXOBOND® PRO. Consult with ASCOLITE'S technical team for details.
SUITABLE LAYING MATERIAL
Ceramic, clay, porcelain, cement mosaic tiles, vitrified tiles (Group B I & B II)**, basalt tiles, natural stone and glass mosaic/tiles. **IS 15622: 2006 – Pressed ceramic tiles specifications.

FIXOBOND® ADHESIVE RANGE, when unopened, can be stored above floor level in a cool dry place for a duration of up to 12 months.

Yes, FIXOBOND® PRO is suitable for use in wet areas, including bathrooms, swimming pools, showers, and exterior wall cladding.
How long does FIXOBOND® PRO take to cure, and when can it be used?
FIXOBOND® PRO allows for adjustments within 10 – 15 minutes of application, and tiles are ready for light foot traffic after 16-24 hours. Full curing occurs within 28 days, ensuring maximum bonding strength and stability. It is recommended to wait at least 24 hours before grouting.
What are the packaging options, storage instructions, and shelf life of FIXOBOND® PRO?
FIXOBOND® PRO is available in 20 kg, 25 kg & 50 kg bags. To maintain its effectiveness, store the bags in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Properly stored, the product has a shelf life of 12 months. This ensures the adhesive retains its bonding strength and consistency throughout its shelf life.
